🌸 Women, Moon & Country – Sound Healing Journey 🌸
This Monday 9 March at 11am we gather at Ewingsdale Hall for a special sound healing session, the day after International Women’s Day.
This session is an invitation to reflect on the role of women — in our lives, in our communities, and in the traditions of the land where we live.
Here in Byron Bay we are on the Country of the Arakwal people of the Bundjalung Nation, where for tens of thousands of years culture, story, song and ceremony have connected people deeply with the land.
In many Aboriginal traditions, women have been life-givers, knowledge keepers and caretakers of Country, holding wisdom about plants, water, birth and the rhythms of the earth.
Through sound, resonance and deep listening, we will create a space to slow down, reconnect and honour:
• the women who came before us
• the women walking beside us
• the generations yet to come
During the sound journey I will be playing instruments with soft and nurturing tonal qualities — crystal singing bowls, gentle percussion and voice — creating a field of vibration for rest, reflection and connection.
🌿 To create a simple community altar, you are invited to bring a flower or a leaf from nature — honouring feminine wisdom, presence, and the unfolding future.
💫 And of course men are very welcome too. This is a space to honour women together, with respect, gratitude and community.
🕊 Invite your favourite woman — a friend, sister, mother, daughter, or someone special in your life.

🌕 FULL MOON & LUNAR ECLIPSE SOUND BATH
Monday 2nd of March – 11am
Ewingsdale Hall, Byron Bay
The night after our session, a rare Full Moon lunar eclipse will take place — the last one until December 2028.
Full Moons illuminate.
Eclipses intensify.
Some people experience lighter sleep, heightened emotions, fluid retention, or nervous system activation during these phases. Rather than being overwhelmed, we can work with the energy consciously.
Sound supports:
• nervous system regulation
• brainwave slowing (alpha & theta states)
• emotional processing
• vagal tone and deep rest
Ancient cultures gathered in sound during eclipses — drums, mantras, chanting — to create coherence during celestial transitions.
On Monday, we prepare.
We ground.
We stabilise.
Sustained frequencies and harmonic layering will guide the body into regulation before the lunar peak.
